Blutron Filtration line
Blupura’s Blutron filtration range is not a standalone domestic water limescale protection system, but rather a range of filters designed for use with compatible Blupura water dispensers, reverse osmosis systems and refrigerated units. The Blutron Ionic filter is particularly relevant for limescale protection: it is installed upstream of the hot water supply, reduces temporary water hardness, limits limescale build-up and maintains a stable pH level. This is particularly useful for Blupura appliances with a hot water function, as well as for compatible Blupura under-counter and tap tower solutions with a hot water function.
This makes the Blutron range particularly suitable for kitchens, coffee machines, hot-water areas, offices, fincas and high-end commercial premises in Mallorca, where limescale affects not only the taste but also appliances, taps and plumbing. The specific cartridge is always selected to suit the Blupura appliance, the water analysis and the intended use; in osmosis systems, the Blutron RO membrane or Blutron Block is used as a pre-filter instead of the Ionic Filter.
Blutron Ionic
Blutron Ionic is a specialised filter designed to reduce temporary water hardness and is particularly suitable for areas where limescale build-up needs to be prevented. The system removes carbonates, helps maintain a stable pH level and, at the same time, reduces chlorine as well as unpleasant tastes and odours.
Thanks to ion exchange resin, carbon block technology and fine post-filtration of 0.5 microns, Blutron Ionic is a useful addition to high-quality water solutions in kitchens, offices, holiday homes, catering establishments and commercial premises across Mallorca. Particularly in places where hot water is used regularly, the filter helps to improve water quality and protect appliances from limescale-related problems.
Blutron Action
Blutron Action is a high-performance specialised filter. Through multi-stage filtration using ion-exchange resin, the system reduces temporary water hardness and thus limescale deposits, which can put a strain on appliances and negatively affect the taste of coffee or hot drinks.
In addition, it reduces chlorine, turbidity and unwanted odours and flavours.
